Little Herberts, a family-focused salon based in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Hairdresser to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

This position is available to support business growth and increasing client demand. The successful candidate will have strong technical hairdressing skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced salon environment.

Task & responsibilities

• Providing a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, bleaching, styling, straightening, perming, and hair treatments 
• Consulting with clients to recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, and hair care treatments based on hair type and client preferences 
• Performing precision hair cutting for male, female, and unisex clients 
• Applying colouring products including highlights, balayage, tinting, and corrective colour work 
• Shampooing, conditioning, and treating hair and scalp conditions 
• Styling hair for special occasions and everyday wear using a range of professional techniques and tools 
• Recommending and selling salon hair care and styling products to clients 
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements 
• Assisting with training and mentoring junior staff members where required 
• Maintaining high levels of customer service and contributing to a positive salon environment 

Qualification & experience

• Minimum of 3 years of full-time relevant work experience as a Hairdresser 
• Relevant hairdressing qualification preferred 
• Strong knowledge of modern cutting, colouring, and styling techniques 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills 
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment 
• Passion for the hair and beauty industry and commitment to high-quality service standards
