About Us

Mr Belson PTY LTD is a family owned and operated business by Brett and Jasmine Jeffery. We currently operate two venues: one is Mr Belson in Yungaburra, serving breakfast and lunch with a dinner service and functions on the weekends, and the other is AIC Bistro located at an international sporting club in Atherton, serving lunch and dinner and services large corporate functions and large-scale catering.

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Chef to oversee our kitchen operations. Your duties will include:

Designing, planning, and costing high-quality menus across both breakfast, lunch, dinner, and large-scale corporate functions.

Managing kitchen inventory, ordering stock, and maintaining food cost controls.

Supervising, training, and coordinating the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Preparing, cooking, and presenting premium dishes during high-volume service periods.

Ensuring strict compliance with all local health and safety regulations.

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

An AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent relevant qualification).

A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience working as a Chef or Senior Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Strong leadership skills and experience catering for large-scale functions and events.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively under pressure.
