Peak Physio is one of the region’s most trusted physiotherapy providers, with multiple locations, a strong clinical reputation, and ambitious plans for growth.
We’re looking for a senior business development and partnerships professional to own and build the next stage of growth at Peak Physio.
Your primary mandate will be to significantly grow referrals and new patient volume through strategic partnerships across NDIS, Home Care, aged care, disability, GPs, specialists, and niche clinical service pathways.
This is a senior, externally focused commercial role reporting directly to the Managing Director. We’re looking for someone who can open doors, build trust, create opportunities and turn relationships into real patient referrals.
A well-established, quality-first allied health business with a history of 30%+ annual growth.
A senior role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Genuine ownership of the referral and partnerships function, with the autonomy to build it properly.
An exceptional salary package, based on experience and impact, with potential performance incentives tied to referral growth.
A strong clinical reputation and capable operations team behind you, so you’re representing a service that delivers.
A positive, vibrant, and supportive team culture.
Budget for partnership activity, events, travel and the tools you need to do the work properly.
A strong existing brand and marketing platform, including 60,000+ Instagram followers, to support your partnership and referral work.
The opportunity to grow into a broader commercial leadership role as the business continues to expand.
You’ll be responsible for identifying, building and managing referral partnerships that drive measurable growth.
This will include relationships with NDIS providers, Home Care and aged care organisations, disability providers, GPs, specialists, employers, community organisations and other strategic partners.
You’ll represent Peak Physio externally, create partnership opportunities, develop referral pathways and ensure those relationships translate into new patient bookings.
This role will involve regular in-person relationship building across the region, with flexibility between clinic-based work, field visits and remote/admin time.
Build and manage strategic referral partnerships across NDIS, Home Care, aged care, disability, GP, specialist and community channels.
Identify and pursue larger partnership, contract, panel and preferred-provider opportunities.
Identify new market opportunities across target sectors and turn them into practical referral pathways.
Develop referral pathways for key clinical services such as vertigo, TMJ, post-op rehab, falls prevention, women's health, neuro, chronic pain and other niche services.
Represent Peak Physio publicly with referrers, organisations and community stakeholders.
Pitch, negotiate and close partnership opportunities independently.
Work with internal teams to ensure referral pathways are clear, responsive and easy to use.
Coordinate with marketing where it supports partnerships, events, education sessions or referral growth.
Track referral sources, partner activity and commercial outcomes.
Help shape service packaging, partner offers and commercial opportunities.
Promote partnership and growth opportunities connected to our online platforms and related service offerings.
Play a key role in leadership discussions around growth strategy and business development.
You’re a commercially minded business development or partnerships professional who knows how to create opportunities and bring referrals through the door.
This role would suit someone currently working in business development, partnerships, provider relations, community engagement or growth roles across allied health, healthcare, NDIS, Home Care, aged care, disability, occupational rehabilitation or community health.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in business development, partnerships, relationship management or commercial growth.
A strong hunter mindset and confidence opening new doors.
Existing networks in healthcare, disability, aged care, Home Care, NDIS or local referral channels.
Strong communication, pitching and negotiation skills.
The ability to represent a trusted healthcare brand with credibility and professionalism.
Commercial discipline and follow-through tracking outcomes.
Comfort working in a fast-moving private business where you’ll need to be proactive, adaptable and commercially focused.
You don’t need to be a physiotherapist, but you do need to understand trust-based referral relationships and allied health referral pathways.
