• You will be responsible for some Product Owner activities including backlog grooming and prioritisation, solution development and stakeholder engagement.

• Play a critical role in continuously improving the Delivery framework.

• In your role as Senior Business Analyst, accountable for gathering of business requirements, writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, working with stakeholders and developers to achieve a quality release for all platforms.

• You will support the developers and testers through the sprint cycle to achieve sprint goals and deliver value to the stakeholders.

• Ensure effective change management of process changes when deploying change initiatives.

• Provide expert guidance, mentorship and technical knowledge to develop capabilities of business analysts, supporting growth and development.

Task & responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritise initiatives, and resolve issues across multiple streams.

• Manage backlog hygiene, prioritisation, and sprint readiness using JIRA.

• Engage stakeholders to understand their requirements for prioritised initiatives, enhancements or the resolution of issues.

• Gather, document, and breakdown requirements into appropriately sized sprint ready user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

• Create user stories and walkthrough these with business and technology teams.

• Get involved during the definition and design phases, contributing to overall solution design.

• Complete the sizing of stories with development and testing teams.

• Act as the day-to-day interface between development team, testers and business stakeholders during execution phase.

• Help the test team define test plans and test cases for all functionalities to be developed, covering both application and broader business process testing.

• Track test cases back to associated design and User stories.

• Prepare business and other stakeholder communications.

• Deliver demos and training to business users and other stakeholders.

• Provide support to the business in their creation of business procedures documentation.

• Identify and help make process improvements to the LGT Wealth Management project ways of working.

• Additional responsibilities may include the participation in new business case or lean canvas development.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst working in Wealth Management or Financial Services Organisations.

• Proven ability to work within a team structure with an accountability to motivate others to achieve excellence.

• Experience working with financial technology platforms (ideally Avaloq).

• Knowledge of wealth management products and services a plus (e.g., portfolio management, CRM, trading, settlement, payments, reconciliations, corporate actions, credit products).

• Experience completing process mapping and developing user stories.

• Knowledge of SDLC and change methodologies a plus.

• Experience working in an Agile delivery framework.

• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

• Advanced Excel skills.
