About the role

We are seeking a Senior Application Support Technician to provide advanced application packaging, lifecycle support, and operational maintenance across diverse Windows and Linux environments. This role ensures the seamless delivery, security, and performance of enterprise applications in alignment with strict service standards and compliance requirements.

• Advanced Application Packaging: Design, configure, and deploy silent, automated, and deployment-ready application packages using enterprise formats including MSI, MSIX, App-V, and IntuneWin.

• Lifecycle & Incident Management: Act as the escalation point for triaging, diagnosing, and resolving complex application incidents. Perform deep log analysis, root-cause identification, and routine maintenance (patching, certificate updates, and log rotation).

• Testing & Compatibility: Review OEM documentation to establish prerequisites, and conduct rigorous functional and compatibility testing against departmental SOE, GPO, and security baselines. Validate all install, uninstall, rollback, and upgrade paths.

• System Health & Availability: Proactively monitor application health, capacity, and security performance in accordance with designated Service Classes.

• Documentation & Release Support: Produce comprehensive technical packaging documentation (installation guides, known issues, version histories) and maintain an accurate catalog of packaged applications to support seamless environment migrations and releases.
