This progressive CA firm is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Business Services team. The firm has experienced consistent growth in recent years and has established itself as an emerging powerhouse in the professional accounting market, servicing a diverse client base of SMEs, family groups, investments, international subsidiaries and consolidated groups.

This role will require you to partner closely with clients and assist with managing a diverse portfolio in both an advisory and compliance capacity. Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing BAS, IAS and FBT returns

• Preparing financial accounts and income tax returns for various entities

• CGT calculations, depreciation adjustments and identifying Div7a issues

• Completing other compliance obligations such as land tax, workers compensations and other ASIC requirements

• Assisting with providing tax and business advice issues including Div7A, structuring, small business concessions, FBT, GST

• Analysing client's financial performance and budgets and advising measures in relation to their position

• Delegating and reviewing work of junior staff 

• Dealing with clients and building relationships 

Applicants:

• Approximately 5 years’ experience or more in public practice

• CA/CPA qualified or near completion

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong business acumen

• Possess ability to lead and manage relationships
