About the role As a Security Architect at CBUS, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s enterprise security architecture. Working as a key member of the Cyber Security team, you’ll ensure security strategies, designs and solutions effectively manage current and future cyber risks while meeting Australian regulatory and compliance requirements.
This role is vital to safeguarding CBUS technology, people and processes. You’ll provide technical expertise across architecture reviews, roadmaps and solution design, partnering closely with Technology teams and stakeholder to embed security controls across cloud platforms and third-party services.
Key Accountabilities: - Design and deliver enterprise-wide security architecture aligned to regulatory and industry standards
- Provide security advice across complex initiatives, influencing technical and business decisions to drive alignment with enterprise security policy and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain and evolve the enterprise security capability roadmap, security patterns, technical standards and architecture practice in general.
- Embed security controls across cloud platforms and third-party providers
- Support governance, risk and architecture forums to ensure secure solution delivery
What will you bring? - Experience in a similar Information or Cyber Security Architect or Cloud Engineer role in a highly regulated environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Security/IT or related discipline
- Deep knowledge of cloud security across Azure and AWS environments and expertise in Identity, Access Management and Zero Trust architecture
- Ability to clearly communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience designing security architectures within large, complex environments
