ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sazerac Field Sales Representative, you'll be the face of the brand across the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region — growing distribution, building relationships with key retail partners, ensuring perfect in-store execution, and driving sales across one of the most exciting portfolios in the spirits industry.
This is a field-based role covering approximately 3 days per week across the region, visiting liquor retail stores across the region.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Own and execute a structured call cycle across stores in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region — 3 days per week
Drive volume growth, distribution, and ranging across the Sazerac portfolio at liquor retail stores
Deliver outstanding in-store execution — display, promotional POS, planogram compliance, and perfect store standards
Build strong, commercially focused relationships with store managers, buyers, and retail staff
Deliver engaging product training sessions that build staff confidence, advocacy, and conversion
Identify and secure incremental display space and promotional opportunities
Monitor competitor activity and report on field insights, consumer feedback, and market trends
Complete daily call reports
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive self-starter and natural relationship builder who thrives working independently across a geographically dispersed territory. You have a genuine passion for the drinks industry and understand what it takes to win at retail.
Ideally, you will bring:
Previous experience in field sales, retail, or FMCG (spirits/liquor industry experience an advantage)
Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage retail teams
Sound commercial acumen — comfortable having range, display, and promotional conversations
Excellent time management and the ability to manage a busy call cycle independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and ideally Salesforce or a similar CRM
A current Australian driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
Based in or around the Newcastle / Hunter Valley region
