We are currently supporting a growing renewable energy platform seeking an energetic and commercially driven Sales Manager to support the expansion of its BESS business across Australia.
This role will focus on driving energy storage sales activities, supporting project development initiatives, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence within the Australian renewable energy sector.
The business is looking for a bilingual Mandarin and English-speaking professional with prior energy storage or renewable energy market exposure who can operate effectively across both local and international business environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Drive BESS sales and business development activities across the Australian market
• Build and maintain relationships with:
  • Renewable energy developers
  • EPC contractors
  • Utilities
  • Commercial & industrial clients
  • Energy market stakeholders
• Support project development activities alongside internal commercial and technical teams
• Identify and pursue new opportunities across energy storage and integrated renewable energy solutions
• Prepare proposals, presentations, tender submissions, and commercial negotiations
• Coordinate closely with regional and international teams on commercial strategy and market execution
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Support broader Australia market growth and commercial expansion plans

• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills
• Prior experience within:
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • Renewable energy
  • Solar + storage
  • Energy storage solutions
  • Clean energy infrastructure
• Strong sales, business development, or account management capability
• Energetic, proactive, and commercially focused mindset
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of the Australian renewable energy market preferred
• Ability to work within a fast-paced and growing business environment

• Experience working with renewable energy developers, OEMs, EPCs, or energy storage providers
• Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy or storage projects
• Existing industry network within Australia’s renewable energy sector
• Experience within expansion-stage or fast-growing businesses highly regarded
