Our client is a highly respected and long-established Australian food manufacturing business with multiple operational sites across New South Wales.

Role
We are currently seeking two experienced and motivated Safety Officers to support WHS operations across multiple sites throughout NSW.
Reporting to the Group WHS Manager, this is a hands-on role suited to individuals who thrive in fast-paced operational environments and are passionate about building strong workplace safety cultures. The positions are based in Western Sydney and involve regular travel between sites across NSW.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and hazard identification activities
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Deliver WHS inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions
  • Coordinate WHS Committee meetings and follow-up actions
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance metrics
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of WHS systems
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures
  • Assist with contractor management and onboarding processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist with Safe Work Procedures
  • Provide practical WHS guidance and support to operational teams
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a hands-on WHS role
  • Experience within manufacturing, food processing or other fast-paced operational environments
  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong reporting and administrative capability
  • Collaborative and proactive approach to workplace safety
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across NSW
Location & Remuneration
These full-time permanent roles are based in Western Sydney with regular travel across NSW. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated to secure the right candidates.
