About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader – Childcare Worker to join our dedicated team. The Room Leader will be responsible for leading a team of educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care programs for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support educators within the room to provide quality care and education.
• Plan and implement engaging learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe and document children’s learning and development.
• Maintain compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies.
• Support the Centre Director in daily operations of the room.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience working in early childhood education (Room Leader experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Current Working with Children Check (ACT).
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
