Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily front-of-house retail operations to ensure timely service and a welcoming environment
Ensure customers receive prompt and courteous service and assist with resolving complaints or special requests
Plan rosters and daily work schedules, and assign staff to duties to optimise service flow
Lead, train, coach, and mentor team members; participate in recruitment and performance reviews
Provide guidance to staff on handling complex sales situations and customer needs
Oversee inventory control, check stock levels, and manage ordering of retail goods and packaging supplies
Ensure pricing and product displays meet branding and compliance standards
Enforce hygiene, workplace health and safety, and security procedures at all times
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
At least a Certificate III/IV in Retail, Hospitality, or related field
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory or senior retail/hospitality role, preferably in a bakery, café, or food retail setting
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Passion for customer service and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy periods
Knowledge of food safety regulations and OH&S procedures
