About the Role

Full-Time Position. Reporting directly to the operations Officer in VIC, the Retail Manager will be responsible for the complete management of the site, team, and retail operations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong commercial awareness, operational experience, and the ability to drive performance across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day retail operations to ensure smooth and efficient store management.
• Lead, train, and develop a dedicated team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and sales.
• Monitor inventory, sales performance, and stock levels to ensure optimal product availability.
• Implement and evaluate marketing strategies to increase store traffic and sales.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships to foster brand loyalty.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls to meet business targets.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, team performance, and operational issues.
• Plan and organise special displays, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for fuel retail and fast-food service.
• Ensure compliance with fuel retail regulations and safety standards.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 12 months of experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
• Degree in Business would be highly regarded
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and retail software systems.
• A strong sales focus with the ability to drive business growth.
• A valid Australian driver's licence.
• Relevant qualifications in retail, management, or business (desirable).
• Experience in petroleum retail or convenience store operations (preferred).
• Computer literacy, including POS systems and inventory management software (preferred).
