About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy service station and convenience store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, supervising staff, maintaining stock levels, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations and overall performance of the service station and convenience store
• Supervise, train, and manage staff members to ensure efficient store operations
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
• Develop and implement sales and promotional strategies to improve profitability
• Monitor store budgets, financial performance, and operational reporting
• Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve customer concerns effectively
• Manage staff rostering, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for business growth

Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years of full-time experience in a retail management role, preferably within a service station, convenience store, or similar retail environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in stock control, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Qualification Requirement

• A relevant qualification at Diploma level or higher in Business, Management, Retail Management, Leadership & Management, or a related field is preferred
