Task & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Supervise, train, and roster staff to maintain productivity and excellent customer service standards.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business targets.
• Manage cash handling, banking, and daily financial reconciliation.

Qualification & experience

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2  years of experience as a Retail Manager, Café Manager, or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail/food service environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and staff rostering.

Understanding of workplace health and safety and food safety standards
