Task & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

The Retail Manager will be responsible for:

• Planning, organising, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Earlwood store to achieve business goals and customer service excellence.
• Leading, training, mentoring, and supervising team members, including recruiting, rostering, performance management, and staff development.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising to maximise store profitability and meet KPIs.
• Monitoring stock levels, managing inventory systems, placing supplier orders, and ensuring product availability.
• Overseeing compliance with WHS standards, food safety regulations, and company operational policies.
• Handling customer feedback, resolving complaints, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring financial performance, preparing reports, managing budgets, and controlling operating costs.
• Liaising with head office management regarding staffing, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Ensuring the store is presented to brand standards at all times, including cleanliness, signage, and merchandising displays.
• Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to support business growth.

Qualification & experience

Skills & Experience

• At least 1–2 years’ proven experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager, or Restaurant Manager.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, stock, and operational processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
