Task & responsibilities

Menu Development: Work collaboratively with chefs to plan and design menus that balance customer preferences with seasonal ingredients and business goals.

Event Coordination: Organise and manage special functions, private bookings, and promotional events to enhance customer engagement.

Procurement & Budgeting: Oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and cost management of food, beverages, and supplies in line with budget requirements.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, supplier transactions, and financial activities.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the restaurant premises meet health, hygiene, and safety standards while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Customer Service: Interact with guests to evaluate satisfaction, address concerns, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, roster, and supervise service and kitchen staff, providing ongoing support and performance management.

Front-of-House Management: Oversee reservations, greet and seat guests, and assist with order management during busy service periods

Qualification & experience

Minimum Diploma of Hospitality Management

3 to 4 years of work experience

RSA certificate
