What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide hands-on care and guidance in a safe, supportive home environment
• Support young people to achieve their individual goals through personalised care plans
• Assist with daily living activities, education, self-care and recreation
• Build strong, trusting relationships grounded in encouragement, consistency and emotional safety
• Maintain accurate, professional documentation to support quality care

What You’ll Need

• Current driver’s licence (minimum P2)
• Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to obtain or currently hold First Aid and CPR certifications
• Completed or willingness to enrol in a Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work or a related field
• Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours, including the ability to respond to escalation, maintain safety, and use trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
• Strong availability across 7 days with the ability to complete a minimum 2 sleepovers a fortnight.
