Task & responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Prepare walls, ceilings, and external surfaces for rendering, ensuring proper adhesion and a smooth finish.
• Application: Mix and apply render, solid plaster, or textured finishes using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out patching, repairs, and restoration of existing plastered or rendered surfaces.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company and client specifications, as well as industry safety and quality standards.
• Site Coordination: Work closely with builders, contractors, and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues such as surface irregularities, moisture problems, or finish inconsistencies.
• Health & Safety: Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualification & experience

• Education & Training: Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience as a Renderer or Solid Plasterer in residential or commercial projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of rendering techniques, materials, and tools, including acrylic, cement, and texture finishes.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to achieve smooth, uniform finishes with high precision.
• Physical Capability: Good stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Communication: Clear communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
• Problem-Solving: Strong initiative to identify issues and implement practical solutions on site.
