About The Service
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Co- Ordinator of Queanbeyan Health Service is responsible for supporting HOD and staff of the health service with work, health and safety issues 
The WHS co-ordinator is responsible for the ensuring WHS matters play an important role within the health service. The position supports the HSM with monitoring and evaluating WHS practice to achieve improved WHS outcomes for the health service.

What you'll be doing
The Registered Nurse using best practice evidence delivers person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people focused quality care. 
 

Selection Criteria

  1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with qualifications or experience in Work Health and Safety is highly desirable but not essential.
  2. Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team.
