About the role

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate and patient-focussed Registered Nurse to join our team at Camden Haven Medical Centre in Laurieton, NSW in a full-time or part-time capacity.

This position would suit an experiences Practice Nurse or a Registered Nurse wishing to move into primary care from the hospital setting.

Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in a wide variety of clinical tasks including, but not limited to:

• Administering immunisations and injections

• Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations

• Supporting GP's with minor surgical procedures

• Maintaining accurate patient clinical data

• Wound care, including dressings and suture removal

• Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes

• Stock management and ordering

• Equiment sterilisation and infection control management

What we're looking for

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Previous general practice experience or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently

• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
