The Role:
We are offering casual shifts for the Registered Nurses (RNs) seeking flexible work hours with some extra income with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, patient-focused environment across the central coast, Hunter and Newcastle Regions. This position is ideal for anyone wanting work-life balance, recent graduates with prior experience, semi- retired nurses, mums returning to the workforce or nurses who want some extra income. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining client health, comfort, and independence, while working in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with clinical protocols
· Monitor, assess, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment
· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
· Educate patients and families about health conditions and aftercare
· Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety and care standards
• Provide advanced care including:
• Complex Bowel Management
• Enteral Feeding and Management
• Severe Dysphagia Management
• Urinary Catheter Management
• Subcutaneous Injections
• Complex Wound Management
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in nursing
· Current AHPRA registration
· Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
· Excellent clinical and problem-solving skills.
· Current Police Check, First Aid Certification, and Working with Children Check
· Right to work in Australia without restriction
