Casual Field Officer (Ranger)

The City of Joondalup is seeking two motivated and community‑minded Casual Field Officers (Rangers) to join our Community Safety team. This dynamic, hands‑on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with the public, and contributing to a safer, well‑managed community.

As a Field Officer, you will represent the City through professional, customer‑focused interactions while carrying out a wide range of compliance and community safety duties. Your day may include animal handling, parking enforcement, monitoring dog and cat registrations, addressing litter and verge issues, managing abandoned vehicles, and ensuring fire break compliance. Every shift offers variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

This position is subject to a roster that operates between 7am and 8:30pm seven days per week.

  • Current WA "C" class driver's licence.

  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).

  • Current National Police Certificate (no older than 3 months).

  • Attainment of ROCS 1 & 2 (desirable).

  • Valid Australian work rights including valid work visa.
