About the Role
Reporting to the VP of Operations and leading a team of 2 direct reports, the Quality Manager is responsible for developing and implementing robust quality control systems that ensure our products consistently meet and exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
You will manage a quality team, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture where quality is everyone's priority — from raw materials through to finished product.
Type of Role: Permanent Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Enjoy our early Friday finish every week!
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the Quality team in ensuring full compliance with ISO, GMP, and all relevant regulatory standards
Develop and implement quality control systems, specifications, and documentation to uphold product quality and compliance
Manage and conduct regular reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
Collaborate with R&D to maintain accurate NPD specifications in line with legislative requirements
Define, monitor, and report on quality KPIs and performance metrics
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
Oversee all internal and external audits and ensure that effective corrective action plans are implemented
Manage internal and external product, water, and equipment testing processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the quality management system
Monitor, investigate, and resolve customer complaints with long-term solutions
Develop and implement processes to minimise waste across operations
Evaluate supplier performance for raw materials and packaging
Provide guidance, coaching, and development to the quality assurance team
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a Quality Leadership role within Personal Care, Cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing — this is essential
Strong working knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
Proven team management and leadership experience with direct reports
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer enquiries, liaise with internal teams, and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders
Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, resources, and schedules effectively
