We are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality & Governance Manager to lead our quality, compliance, and risk functions and support organisational excellence at a senior level. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our central office located in Belmont with some travel required to Mandurah. Flexible working arrangements, including work-from-home days, will be considered.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for:

  • Leading quality, governance, and compliance to ensure safe, high-quality, and person-centred services across the organisation.
  • Driving organisational excellence through strong governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing strategic leadership in quality and governance to support safe, effective, and compliant service delivery.
  • Championing quality and compliance to enhance participant safety, outcomes, and overall service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and embed the organisation’s quality and clinical governance frameworks, driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Facilitate governance forums to monitor performance, risks, and improvement priorities and inform strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards, relevant legislation, and best practice frameworks
  • Oversee audit readiness, internal audits, and continuous improvement actions, including engagement with auditors and regulator
  • Partner with leaders, participants, and families to enhance service quality and participant outcomes
  • Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement, embedding lessons into practice, policy, and training

What You'll Bring

  • Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with contemporary clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and clinical governance.
  • Experience leading audits, accreditation and corrective actions.
  • Post graduate qualifications in quality, risk or leadership (desirable)
  • Experience in disability, community or home and living services (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a solution focussed approach.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in customer record systems and technology including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with people with disability
    and their supporters, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under limited direction, be proactive and work within a team to deliver outcomes.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including quality system documentation, report writing, facilitation and presentations
