About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Mechanic to join our team at Cloncurry 4WD Services Pty Ltd in Cloncurry, Queensland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional to contribute to the success of our family-owned 4WD servicing and repair business.

What you'll be doing

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of 4WD vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

Ensure workshop equipment and tools are well-maintained and comply with safety standards

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and techniques

What we're looking for

Qualified mechanic with a relevant trade certificate or diploma

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques

A valid driver's licence and your own tools
