Bethania Lutheran Kindergarten is excited to invite applications for a passionate and dedicated Certificate III / Diploma Qualified Educator to join our warm and welcoming Kindergarten community on a permanent part-time basis (25 hours per week).

👩‍🏫 About the Role

As an Educator at Bethania Lutheran Kindergarten, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively supervising and engaging children in a variety of indoor and outdoor learning experiences that promote curiosity, learning, and wellbeing.

• Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel supported to play, explore, and build new skills.

• Implementing age-appropriate programs that reflect the interests, abilities, and developmental stages of each child, in alignment with the National Quality Framework.

• Building positive, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider school community.

• Collaborating with the team to support high-quality outcomes for children and families.

• Assisting with maintaining a clean, safe, and organised learning environment, including light cleaning duties.

💛 About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently working towards)

• Previous Kindergarten experience (preferred).

• A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.

• A current Blue Card.

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A proven ability to build respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s holistic development.

• A willingness to actively support and uphold the Christian ethos of the service.

• Food handling experience (desirable, but not essential).

• Completion of an approved Child Protection Training course in line with Section 126A of the Education and Care Services National Law.
