Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine, and Commercial Industries.

We have multiple EXCITING opportunities for Casual or Permanent Experienced NACE Supervisors, Blaster Painters, and Trade Assistants for Local or Site based project work.

Port Hedland

Local site work

To be successful in this position, you should ideally Have:

• A great Attitude and self-motivated  

• Competence with airless and conventional spray painting

• Competence with abrasive blast equipment

• Experience with 2-pack paints.

• Previous site and/or workshop experience

• Marine environment experience desirable

• Experience in maintaining equipment, including pre-starts and equipment checklists.

• Ability to work unsupervised within a team environment.

• Flexibility with Working FIFO and Local

• NACE 2 (Supervisor applicants)  

Desirable tickets:

• Certificate III in Surface Preparation (desirable)

• C Class Drivers Licence

• Working at Heights

• Confined Space Entry

• High Risk Licence with EWP

• Nace 1 (desirable for Blaster painters)

• Stopaq Trained

• UHP Ticket  (desirable)

• Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance

• MSIC is desirable
