About the Role
As the Quality Manager, you will:
Lead and manage the site’s QA/QC functions to meet HACCP, GMP, FSANZ, regulatory and customer standards
Oversee internal, third-party, and customer audits, ensuring site readiness and compliance
Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
Drive food safety programs, document control, traceability, and customer specification portals
Investigate and resolve non-conformances and customer complaints with effective corrective actions
Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
Develop and deliver training in food safety, HACCP, and GMP to foster a strong quality culture
Lead, coach, and mentor the QA/QC team to build capability and accountability
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline
7–10 years’ experience in food manufacturing quality assurance, including at least 3 years in management
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance
Proven track record in managing audits (internal, external, and customer)
Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
