We are seeking a Psychotherapist to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing therapy services to clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate client records.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals and groups
• Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Stay current on best practices and developments in the field

Qualifications

• Master in Counselling or Mental Health Counselling
• Licensed in Australia
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Task & responsibilities

THe role involves providing therapeutic services to the local community, children, adults, couples and families as well as organisations.  This includes assessment and intervention for a range of clients.  The responsibilities of therapeutic care for clients, including professional behaviour and multi-disciplinary team engagement.  There is a high level of skills in interpersonal skills, verbal communication, written communication and liaison with other professionals.

Qualification & experience

THe applicant will have a Masters qualification as welll as significant experience in the field of counselling, therapy and psychotherapy.  The applicant would be professionally registered with PACFA.
