YOUR ROLE

The Program Support Officer contributes to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various educational programs and initiatives in alignment with Digital Pedagogy and Artificial Intelligence Program  This role is designed to support the Education, Strategy and Performance (ESP) Unit across education strategy, driving innovation and monitoring performance across the Directorate, to improve the outcomes of the MACS school system.

This is a 12 month fixed-term position.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including teachers, school leaders, agencies or academic institutions
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to assess program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
  • Work to identify opportunities for program improvement and innovation.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff involved in program implementation.
  • Prepare and submit reports on program progress, challenges, implementation fidelity and outcomes to relevant stakeholders, including preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and updates for the Digital Pedagogies and AI Program Lead and the Education Excellence Directorate leadership.
  • Provide high-quality program coordination and operational support across all workstreams of the Digital Pedagogies and AI Program, including planning, scheduling, and logistics for program activities, events, and professional learning initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated program coordination or project support skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholder relationships concurrently within a complex educational or similar setting.
  • Strong organisational, communication/ interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to manage and analyse data and research.
  • Self-motivated and curious, with a genuine commitment to the disciplined, evidence-based integration of digital pedagogy, technology and artificial intelligence in Catholic schools.
  • Able to work at pace within an agile and dynamic team, and to proactively engage with emerging developments in the field.
  • Advanced level of knowledge and skills in working with relevant software packages, especially within the Microsoft Office suite, other classroom technologies and/or willingness to learn new applications including PowerBI, Mentimeter, Artificial Intelligence or Generative AI, Monday.com.
