About the Role
The Resources Regulator, within NSW Resources, is recruiting for a Project Officer to join the Office of the Executive Director (OED). This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the effective governance, transparency and delivery of critical operational functions. You will play a central role in supporting high priority activities including the coordination of GIPA applications, subpoenas, and informal information releases, ensuring these are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements. Your work will directly support the Executive Director and broader business in maintaining accountability and delivering trusted outcomes for stakeholders and the community.
Beyond core operational responsibilities, you will contribute to broader project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. This includes coordinating updates to website content, maintaining the accuracy and currency of information in systems and coordinating the update of internal regulatory operational knowledge articles and procedures. You will also provide secretariat support to key projects, ensuring effective coordination, documentation and follow through of key activities. This role is well suited to someone who has a high level of attention to detail, enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by enabling strong governance, delivering results and high-quality outcomes.
