Project Administrator

Task & responsibilities

In this role, you'll be right in the thick of things - helping deliver successful projects by working closely with Marine Surveyors, Authorised Officers, Stevedores, Project Managers, and stakeholders across our various businesses. 

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Supporting the development and review of project variations, ensuring everything is clearly documented and well communicated
• Responding to internal and external inquiries and helping resolve any issues that arise in relation to projects and services
• Keeping all the paperwork in check by managing documentation for programs, services, and work orders
• Collaborating with key project personnel to make sure goals, deadlines, and standards are met
• Advising senior leadership on project-related matters and helping to implement their decisions 
• Overseeing contractor activities and reporting on any changes to the scope of work
• Preparing reports, submissions, and updates on project progress and business activities
• Gathering and analysing project data, and providing insights on performance and outcomes

Qualification & experience

Qualifications & Training:

• AQF Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field
• Background in Project Management or closely related discipline is essential
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

Skills & Experience:

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
• Attention to detail when it comes to documentation and reporting
• Familiarity with project reporting tools and data analysis
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently
