Program Support - Support at Home (SAH)
(Maternity Leave Contract)
This is a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave, based in our Brisbane Office. The position will be an integral part of the team to assist and support the Care Coordinator with the clerical requirements and the day to day operations of the Support at Home (SAH) program.
Co.As.It. Community Services provides quality home support services to the general community and specialises in services to the CALDB (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse background) community in the Brisbane and South Coast areas. The agency has been responding to individual and daily needs of the aged in the community since 1978 and aims to always provide a service of excellence that is responsive to client's individual circumstances.
The Role:
Preparation of client documentation
Carry out all clerical/administrative duties relevant to the requirements of the program
Have an understanding and experience in delivering services according to the Aged Care Quality Standards
Provide support and assistance to the Care Coordinators
Regularly liaising with the Care Coordinators, Clients and Support Workers in organising service rosters, documentation and clients' personal file.
Organising quotes/purchase orders and approving invoices for account processing
Delivering customer-focused approach
What you will need:
Previous experience in clerical duties within the aged care sector
Exceptional time and task management skills
Strong clerical skills
Knowledge of the SAH program
Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
Good interposal and communication skills
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office programs
Ability to speak another language and knowledge of the needs of a CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) community, is desirable.
Current National Police Certificate issued by the Australian Federal Police Canberra
