We are now looking for a Production Assistant to join our HQ team located in Newstead, Brisbane.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Production Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Product and Garment Technical teams through the coordination and management of all sample development processes. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless communication with offshore suppliers and merchandisers, maintaining critical timelines, and overseeing the organisation of samples, swatches, and development materials.

Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will support seasonal range reviews, ecommerce photography preparation, and day-to-day production coordination to ensure an efficient and organised product development process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sample Coordination & Critical Path Management

  • Partner daily with offshore suppliers and merchandisers to support sample execution

  • Track and follow up on all sample developments to ensure timelines remain on track

  • Assist in monitoring critical path timelines and support key sample deadlines

  • Coordinate the dispatch of samples and swatches to suppliers and stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate communication across teams regarding development progress

Sample & Swatch Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day organisation and management of all samples

  • Curate and organise swatches, lab dips, and development samples for internal reviews and approvals

  • Assist in preparing samples for seasonal range reviews and product meetings

  • Manage the handover of samples to the Ecommerce team for website photography

  • Ensure samples are organised and aligned with shoot schedules and production timelines

Logistics & Team Support

  • Coordinate incoming factory parcels and support communication across teams

  • Support the Garment Tech team with fittings, updates, and development tasks as required

  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support workflow efficiency

  • Assist in maintaining organised development spaces and processes across the product team

  • Contribute to a collaborative and efficient team environment

ABOUT YOU

  • Qualification in Fashion, Merchandising, Garment Technology, or a related field

  • Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Previous experience in a coordinator or administrative role within a product team is advantageous but not essential

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • A proactive attitude with excellent time management skills

  • Passion for fashion, product development, and collaborative teamwork
