About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Principal Salesforce Architect to drive expert Salesforce system architecture, hands on development, and technical leadership across all project phases, to design, deliver and assure complex Salesforce solutions that align with enterprise architecture, security and business requirements.

About You
You will bring Salesforce solution architecture skills to design, build and maintain complex business requirements, balance competing priorities, and identify interdependencies to ensure project objectives are met. Success relies on strong Salesforce platform expertise with background in Apex, LWC, APIs and configuration, as well asproblem-solving, and communication skills to bring together developers in delivering innovative and efficient solutions.

Key knowledge and experience
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Security and Compliance features, with a solid grasp of integration with broader Enterprise Architecture domains.

• Strong expertise in business analysis processes, identifying Salesforce implementation opportunities and mitigating potential risks.
• Advanced understanding of Salesforce cloud-based solutions, including “as a service” architectures like Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Comprehensive awareness of current and future trends in Salesforce technologies and their alignment with broader ICT and information architecture strategies.
• Experience in system analysis and design including in requirements gathering and documenting functional requirements, understanding business requirements/process.

1. XML, VB.NET, .NET, PHP, Java and Web Services
2. strong MS-SQL database and TSQL knowledge, skills and experience including performance tuning of SQL queries both implicit and EF generated
3. Apex, Apex Classes, Apex Triggers and Communities.
4. Aura, LWC and Custom Lightning Components
5. Bitbucket, ANT, GearSet
6. Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
7. Data Visualisation Tooling (PowerBI, QlikView etc)
