Our client in Penrith is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their growing team. If you enjoy working with metal, following blueprints, and creating high-quality parts, this role could be perfect for you.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Choose the right tools and materials for each job
• Measure and check finished parts for accuracy
• Adjust machines to maintain quality standards
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Keep your work area safe and clean
• Work with the team to meet production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Sheet Metal Trade Certificate
• Experience with press brakes or similar machinery
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
• Basic math and mechanical skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to stand for long periods
• Lift and move materials as needed

Work Environment

• Manufacturing or fabrication shop
• Exposure to noise, metal dust, and machinery

What's On Offer

• $34/hr + Super
• 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
