About the Opportunity
Based in our Melbourne HQ, the PR Manager is responsible for leading and managing Synergie Skin’s public relations strategy across both B2B and B2C audiences.
This role plays a critical part in strengthening brand presence, driving earned media outcomes, and elevating Synergie Skin’s positioning within the premium professional skincare market.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and broader marketing team, you will manage our external PR agency, lead media and press activity, and support influencer and KOL programs to ensure consistent, high-quality brand storytelling.
This is a focused PR role, with full ownership of media, press, and influencer activity. Proven experience in PR and agency management is essential.
What you will be doing:
· Lead and execute the PR strategy aligned to brand, product, and commercial priorities
· Manage the day-to-day relationship with the PR agency, ensuring clear direction, delivery, and performance
· Drive earned media outcomes through press releases, media outreach, and storytelling opportunities
· Identify and leverage media, founder, and product opportunities to elevate brand visibility
· Lead influencer, KOL, and ambassador collaborations aligned to key campaigns
· Monitor PR performance, track KPIs, and provide insights to optimise outcomes
· Manage the PR budget, including forecasting, tracking, and identifying efficiencies
· Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Education, and eCommerce to ensure alignment and execution
· Ensure all PR activity reflects brand positioning, tone of voice, and commercial objectives
· Support founder profiling, media opportunities, and thought leadership positioning

About You:
· 3–5 years’ experience in PR or brand marketing, ideally within beauty, wellness, or lifestyle
· Proven experience managing PR agencies and delivering media outcomes
· Strong writing and communication skills, with a flair for brand storytelling
· Experience working with influencers, KOLs, and ambassador programs
· Commercially aware, with the ability to align PR activity to business outcomes
· Highly organised, proactive, and confident working autonomously
· A collaborative team player with a genuine passion for skincare and the professional beauty industry
