We're looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to help lead our growing Mackay team. This role is ideal for an experienced plumber, sole trader, foreman, or leading hand who wants to step into a leadership position without carrying the financial risk and pressure of business ownership.

Tropical Coast Plumbing is a locally owned and rapidly growing plumbing and maintenance company servicing residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients throughout Mackay and the surrounding regions.

We've built a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and strong customer relationships. As we continue to grow, we're looking for the right person to help us lead our operations and support our team in delivering exceptional results.

As Operations Supervisor, you'll work closely with management to oversee daily operations, support field staff, coordinate jobs, solve problems, and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Some days you'll be coordinating crews and managing priorities. Other days you might be helping on-site, supporting a project, meeting with clients, or stepping in to help the team achieve targets.

No task is beneath you. No challenge is someone else's problem.

Success in this role will be measured by outcomes, team performance, customer satisfaction, and your ability to help drive the business forward.

• Supervise daily plumbing and maintenance operations.

• Support and mentor plumbers, apprentices, and field staff.

• Assist with scheduling, workforce planning, and job coordination.

• Monitor productivity, job quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Identify and solve operational issues before they become problems.

• Support project delivery and ensure jobs remain on track.

• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards.

• Build strong relationships with customers and team members.

• Assist with improving systems, processes, and efficiencies.

• Step into operational or field-based work when required.

• Help drive accountability, teamwork, and high performance across the business.

• You've run your own plumbing business and want less stress and more stability.
