Experienced Woodfire Pizza Chef Wanted – Blackout Lounge

Blackout Lounge is looking for an experienced and passionate Woodfire Pizza Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking pizzas in a woodfire oven

• Making, handling, and hand-stretching fresh dough

• Rostering kitchen staff

• Hiring and training new team members

• Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen section and storage areas

• Stock take and ordering

• Ensuring food quality and consistency during service

• Working efficiently in a high-volume environment

• Collaborating closely with the kitchen and floor team

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience working with a woodfire pizza oven

• Strong knowledge of dough preparation and pizza techniques

• Leadership and team management skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude

• Availability to work weekends and late nights

• Food Safety knowledge/certification preferred
