We are currently seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Plumber to join a leading industrial water solutions company based in Malaga.
Working within a busy workshop environment, you'll be involved in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of water treatment systems, process pipework, pump skids, and associated mechanical infrastructure servicing the mining, municipal, wastewater, and industrial sectors across Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople with experience in industrial piping, water infrastructure, mining, process plants, or mechanical installation projects.

- Monday-Friday roster - Dayshift only
- 50+ hour weeks

Key Responsibilities - Fabrication and installation of HDPE, PVC, UPVC, and stainless-steel pipework
- Poly welding (Butt Fusion and Electrofusion)
- Assembly of water treatment plants and skid-mounted process systems
- Installation of pumps, valves, manifolds, and mechanical equipment
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and P&IDs
- Pressure testing and commissioning support
- Workshop-based fabrication with occasional site and FIFO project work
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
Must Have: - Trade qualification as a Pipe Fitter, Mechanical Plumber, Mechanical Fitter, or similar
- Proven Poly Welding experience & Butt Fusion & Electrofusion tickets
- Experience within industrial, mining, water treatment, civil, or process piping environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience installing pumps, valves, and mechanical piping systems
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and workmanship
Highly Regarded - Water treatment or wastewater experience
- Mining or resource sector experience
- Mechanical fitting background
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
- Previous FIFO experience
