Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispensary Technician to join our team. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to serve our valued customers.

Task & responsibilities

• Filling and labelling patients' prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Recording medical information using the pharmacy’s management software
• Labelling and packaging medications
• Checking the Dispensary voicemail/email regularly and promptly dealing with queries from patients
• Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintaining the temperature control record/logbook
• Maintaining complete and accurate records of all dispensing transactions
• Keeping records of prescriptions sent to community pharmacies
• Dispensing of returned medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients to compound customised medications under the supervision of a pharmacist

Qualification & experience

• Completed a Diploma or higher qualification in Pharmacy
• Have at least three years of work experience in a related role.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
