This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a well-established organisation that plays a vital role in Melbourne’s public transport network.

About the Role

Working in a small, collaborative team, you’ll support the processing of payroll for up to 1,700 employees across multiple depots and departments.

This is a true end-to-end payroll role, offering variety and exposure across:

• Payroll processing across multiple pay environments
• Maintaining accurate employee records
• Responding to payroll queries across the business
• Month-end reporting and reconciliations
• Supporting compliance and payroll accuracy
• Partnering with internal stakeholders

You’ll be supported by your Team Leader and colleagues, with structured training to build confidence and capability as you settle into the role.

You’re motivated, detail-focused, and looking to build a long-term career in payroll.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator with great customer service skills
• High level of numeracy and problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
