We are seeking a passionate, dedicated OSHC Leader to oversee our school‑based Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. Located on the grounds of St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School, our 150‑place Service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, and plays an essential role in supporting our vibrant school community.

This is a permanent full‑time position, offering a combination of full days and split shifts.

You will work closely with our Nominated Supervisor, who supports both our Early Learning Service and OSHC, ensuring strong collaboration across the school’s care environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Create a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued.

• Oversee daily OSHC operations to ensure smooth, high‑quality service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with all Service policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

• Lead and mentor educators, fostering professional growth and a positive team culture.

• Design engaging programs that reflect children’s interests, needs, and developmental stages.

• Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community.

• Manage rosters to ensure effective staffing and operational coverage.

• Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and quality initiatives.

• Promote a collaborative, values‑based culture grounded in professional practice and Catholic ethos.

• Work closely with the School Principal and the CEWA Care Services Team to support strategic and operational goals.

What You’ll Need

Required

• Approved OSHC qualification as recognised by ACECQA.

• Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

• Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance.

• Leadership or supervisory experience in an OSHC or similar setting (preferred).

• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place framework.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
