Task & responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily office operations and administrative activities
- Coordinate operational workflows to ensure efficient transport and logistics support
- Monitor business procedures and implement process improvements to increase productivity
- Supervise office staff, scheduling, attendance, and performance management
- Maintain records, reports, compliance documentation, and operational databases
- Liaise with drivers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients regarding operational matters
- Assist management with budgeting, expense monitoring, and operational cost control
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff
- Ensure workplace health and safety procedures and company policies are followed
- Coordinate communication between management and operational teams
- Handle customer enquiries and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Assist with inventory coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation where required
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to management for business improvement
Qualification & experience
The successful candidate should possess:
- Bachelor qualification in Business Management, Commerce, Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time experience in office management, operations management, administration, or business coordination roles
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in operational planning, budgeting, and staff supervision
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational efficiency
- Experience within transport, logistics, construction, infrastructure, or service-based industries will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of compliance processes and business administration practices preferred
