Your Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Design, configure and commission telecommunications system and networks. Integrating the site and perform the ping test.
• Deliver and produce engineering project proposals to Determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems, data, and network.
• Coordination With NOC Team for changes required in plans given by planning Teams.
• Evaluating and procuring new products and services from vendors
• Ensure regulations for use of telecommunications equipment is clearly assessed and is accurately translated in the design and plans.
• Through editing, design, or review, ensure best practice design and configurations of relevant telecommunications equipment, including hardware and software aspects of each design to deliver the necessary level of performance of each installation
• As required define, specify and seek procurement of equipment and products
• Identify risks and existing problems with the telecommunication systems and incorporate improvements where applicable into the design of all plans.
• As required define, specify and seek procurement of equipment and products
• Compile engineering project proposals to define goals, identify scope, background and need, and ascertain cost of equipment, parts and services
• Identify risks and existing problems with the telecommunication systems and incorporate improvements where applicable into the design of all plans.
• Develop and produce the necessary documentation to deliver integrity of the engineering plans, including filing all paperwork as outlined in client specification requirements.
• Develop and maintain logs of tests, locations, and stock inventories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
• Use SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) and SWIs (Safe Work Instructions) for maintaining documentation.
• Monitor the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment and to assess need for updates, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Provide ongoing operational support in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting telecommunications network performance.
