What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be the driving force behind growth and engagement across BHP’s Local Buying Program (LBP), including: 

• Enabling the relationship between some of Australia’s smallest local Suppliers with one of Australia biggest companies  

• Expanding customer uptake  

• Building and activating strong, competitive supplier networks 

• Leading stakeholder engagement and market activation 

• Delivering data-driven insights and performance outcomes 

• Embedding continuous improvement and digital innovation 

• Coaching and developing your team to deliver in full, every time  

What we’re looking for 

You’re a natural leader and relationship-builder who brings: 

• A strong growth and commercial mindset 

• Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes 

• Experience working across complex stakeholder environments 

• Data guru with enhanced Excell or Power Bi skills – able to make the complex simple 

• Confidence to lead teams, conversations and change 

• A passion for creating meaningful impact beyond the numbers
