Wilson Design and Build is seeking a Multimedia Designer who will be responsible for planning, designing and developing high-quality visual, digital, video, animated and 3D multimedia content to support Wilson Design and Build’s project presentation, brand communication and client engagement activities. The role combines creative design, content production, and visual communication to support the company’s ongoing residential and commercial activities, including custom homes, granny flats, duplexes, townhouses, subdivisions, property investment related services and the W Collection Home brand. 

The position will be based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

The position reports to the Creative Director / Managing Director.

Task & responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Consult with management, marketing staff, project teams and other stakeholders to understand creative/design objectives, project and communication requirements
• Interpret creative briefs and determine appropriate multimedia design solutions for project presentation, brand communication and digital content
• Research visual communication approaches, audience needs and project specific requirements to inform multimedia concepts
• Develop design concepts, layouts, storyboards and visual solutions for digital, print, video and presentation materials
• Prepare graphics, illustrations, presentations, signage, catalogues, promotional materials and other visual assets
• Produce and edit multimedia content, including video, photography, digital graphics and recorded visual materials
• Produce project photography, videography and edited visual content to document construction progress, completed homes and promotional project material
• Create 3D visualisations, rendered images, and presentation assets to support residential and commercial building projects
• Develop accurate PBR textures and material assets based on real-life products , finishes and building surfaces
• Assist with UI layouts and digital assets using Figma
• Recommend suitable visual styles, materials, and media formats for marketing and presentation purposes
• Coordinate with management, sales staff, and project teams to convert construction, design and project information into clear multimedia content
• Develop multimedia content to present Wilson Design & Build’s residential and commercial projects, including custom homes, investment properties and project developments

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or a mimimum 5 years work experience in liue of formal qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,and Substance Sampler
• Experience using Figma for digital layouts, UI assets, branded content andpresentation materials
• Experience using Twinmotion for architectural rendering and visualisation workflows
• Experience in video editing and audio production using DaVinci Resolve and iZotopeOzone
• Ability to create and manage 3D assets using Blender, SketchUp, or similar software
• Experience creating accurate PBR textures from real-life products and materials
• Photography and videography skills for commercial and promotional purposes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Mandarin speaking skills will be highly regarded
