Motor Mechanic

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our busy team at our tyre and automotive service centre located in Dandenong, Victoria.

As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction. Please note this position is for an experienced motor mechanic and NOT a Tyre fitter as the job duties are much more than fitting and changing tyres and wheel alignments.

Task & responsibilities

Inspecting, Diagnosing and Repairing mechanical parts of light vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and Steering systems. 

Performing Routine Vehicle servicing and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer specifications. 

Identifying Faults using the diagnostic equipment and carrying out necessary repairs.

Ensuring all work is carried out in a compliance with the occupational Health and safety standards.

Completing Job Cards, reports and Service documentation accurately.

Providing Technical advice and support to customers and team members.

Qualification & experience

Applicant:

Must have trade qualifications in the relevant field with a minimum of Cert IV.

Must Have minimum of one year previous experience in a similar role.

Ability to work in a team and on your own.
