MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Reporting to the Workshop Manager and Foreman you will be required to carry out tasks as directed.
- Operating both manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, and other equipment
- studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Use of sheet metal and section rolling machinery
- Operate press brake and other bending machines.
- Develop jigs and other devises to increase production efficiency.
- Conduct Quality Assurance on parts and assemblies to ensure compliance.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
- (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) Minimum 5 - 10 years’ of workshop experience
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Flexible and able to engage confidently with co-workers and management.
- An eye for detail combined with a positive attitude.
- Ability to interpret drawings and carry out detailed site measuring
- Be willing to work with different materials and varying tasks.
- Good English skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening.
